Dying Light received a patch in March that enabled 60 FPS gameplay on the Xbox Series X and PS5, though the Xbox Series S was left out in that instance. Meanwhile, this new patch also adds a new High Performance mode to the game, specifically on the Xbox Series S. The new Dieselpunk DLC pack, which brings new weapons and outfits for the base game and a new buggy for The Following, has also arrived. For starters, Hellraid has received its final update, adding new crystal consumables, weapon blueprints, a reworked armoury, and more. Patch 1.49 has gone live for Dying Light, and it brings plenty to the table. The original Dying Light has seen excellent and prolonged post-launch support over a period of several years since it first came out, and though it’s finally read to wind down, it’s received another significant update. Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be what Techland is going to be focused on for a few years to come now, but its predecessor isn’t out of steam just yet.
